dimarzio - air zone , breed bri

wat u tink would be best for my ibanez rg 2570 in theb ri position . basswood body , rosewood fretboard , floyd rose

Air Zone is like my Tonezone... just a more vintage version with slightly less output... its got a weaker string pull so there is more sustain. Less bite than the TZ. Again, its very warm... so you might want to note that.

Breeds are rocking. :)

the Duncan Custom & PATB-2 will give a better overall response for a floating bridge guitar, specifically because they have a slightly more bass response which such guitars lack. these humbuckers are also good if you inject lots of distortion into your tone.

for the duncan custom , do i need a trembucker verrsion or something ?

are these 2 . gd for harmonics and stuff ?haha

will they work well with my 2 dimarzio/ibanez stocks ?

for floyd-type bridge guitar, the preference is for a trembucker spaced pickup. these are actually made to measure version of the regular Duncan pickups, instead of 'SH', these models begin with the 'TB' prefix & comes with a green inlay card in the packaging. i think shredcow has answered this query if you re-read his post...

how a trembucker packaging looks like:
