Drum Tuning

hi ppeps, i just bbought peal forum few days back, and i've got some problem with my bass drum. sound pretty heavy but its just not deep enough.

help?

Hmmm... Just a few questions: Do have any muffling or pillow inside the bass drum? How is the batter head and the resonant head tuned? ie which 1 is higher?

i have a pillow inside. ermm, what do you mean by the batter head?

oh btw. i tightened it. it sounds much better already. lol

okay knew it..well, it sounds better already after i've tightened it. cause that time when i tighten it, it sounds weird..so i loosen it. lol.
