hey guys i was wondering, wat ur preferences in shell are.
like thickness, type of wood, number of plys, shell construction, hardware and suspension mounts.
and most imptly why u choose wat u choose

I supposed I love ThinShells (thinner ones) eg 5 ply Mahagony as in the Pearl Master as I feel they resonate better.

Having said that - I would also love to own a Kit made entirely of Birch Wood - they says Birch is nice for Recording - the Yamaha Recording Custom is reknown as one of the best in the World.

Shell Construction - I prefer Varnish Sheels but I also love those beautiful Sparkles Drums that are mostly using Wraps.

As far as Hardware is concern,,,shit.ttttt this is a very tough question. I like the Versatility of Yamaha Hardware...but in terms of solidness - it's Sonor & DW Hardwares.

I love Sonor Hilite, DW Timeless Timber, Yamaha Recording Custom, Pear Custom, A Vintage Gretsch Jazz 1950s to 60s Round Badge Kit in Champange Colour - this is what I love - But if I were asked to choose just one - Then it would be DW Timeless Timber - Gosh... I will die for this Kit.
