hey

inclusive of hardware and cymbals? ok.. dig this.. tama superstar custom SL50 - 2000 bucks.. inclusive of basic hardware. 400 can get u quite decent prepacks. maybe zbt or something. consult me at 81127898. if u need help la. erm. check my drum setup too.. that's pretty nice. i would suggest more budget, and get a $2000 drum shield. very recommended for church use.

I think wif a budget of $2500, you could get a High End drumset at Luthermusic.... If you dun mind used drums. :) Heard from a friend that someone frm a church bought a drumset for $8000 from yamaha. 8O 8O Is dat true?

Luther is quite expensive la. (in my opinion), depends on the experience of the drummer la. i ever had a friend whose church had clearsonic panels, recording custom drums, and iron cobras, but the drummer didnt know how to utilise them so no point. I suggest working to find a proper kit to suit his expertise. 2nd hand drumsets are pretty ok, but you have to know to inspect it really well. Another thing you can do is get a new cheap drumset, and change some important hardware, such as pedals and skins. Check my replies my opinion on heads, and check out my kit too. Pretty much what i'd recommend.

pearl export radical for 1500 and sabian aax performance set for 800, exceed ur budget by 300 bucks but worth it. 2000 will either get u a good set with lousy cymbals or a lousy set with very few cymbals or low quality cymbals... even if u get the abv, u wld only have 1 crash haha... try to persuade sweelee to give u a free 18" crash but, no way la haha

.

I suggesting getting a good set to work with first.. since its the foundation. The cymbals, i suggest, probably you all can expand over time, and its flexible, but it is definitely move feasible to invest in a set that has a good tone and sound.

why no one remember PEACE DNA...$1450 for a nice full maple set and u still have $1050 for ur cymbals and stuff...got AAX performance set as wad nysk said ( me and him are AAX lovers though ), but they are really that good to make us love it.

1) $1450 for PEACE DNA at ezimusic (www.ezimusic.com)
2) $800 for AAX performance set

left $250....

u wont get a pedal though. mayb $250 for the pedal ? tama iron cobra power glide single pedal at $200 from sweelee. ( bargain coz u getting AAX performance set too ) haha!! :P

so again,

1) $1450 for PEACE DNA at ezimusic (www.ezimusic.com)
2) $800 for AAX performance set
3) $200 for ur iron cobra
4) $50 left to get a decent stool :D

im a budget man...lol!! :D

haha yea aax's are da bomb, sure many out there will agree... and sry i tot ur budget was 2k not 2.5k, haha. yes actorial has a very good suggestion indeed. but the problem is still... u oni got one crash haha... if ezimusic bothered to throw in a free throne and pedal, u wont have this problem! 250=new crash!!!

it took me some times to look at here and there to find out prices. no chioce lah...budget mah...heh!! 2.5k can do quite alots already...hope i helped ;)

Cheers!!

Selling TAMA Superstar, maybe it might be wat u r looking 4

Hi, I'm having a friend who is selling his drumset cos he is moving out and shifting house back to Malaysia. His set is pretty new, I would say about 1 mth old and he seldom plays (i think so far he only touch it for 30 mins!) Saw on your previous posts that you are interested in Tama superstar. Here are the specs:

Tama SK52S-VTB Superstar Drum shell kit W/HR5Wn Hardware
Colour metallic grey.
Cymbals - Sabian B8 Performance set (16 and 18 inches crash plus 20 inch ride c/w individual stands) w/bag.
Remo O-rings full set pack with 14inch extra.
Tama Drum stick HM1.
Tama HC13BR Cymbal stand.
Pearl D-2000 drummer's throne (worth $300).

Bought it for $3000, think he wants to sell at $2200. Price is negotiable though. Should be fitting in your budget, If you are interested, let me know, I can arrange for meeting with my fren and testing it out. Call me @ 90274447 or email me @ michaelcgh@yahoo.com. Think my fren is leaving for Malaysia next week, so intending to sell fast. (Possible further lowering of price).

You can view pics at my blog at http://mic-asturias.blogspot.com

its nice to have a TAMA drum sets too..such as Rockstar? Superstar or even Starclassic? but seriously..if your budget kind of low..Rockstar will be good..dont care the model..but then if you tune it well..mic it well..use with Good cymbals..its okie also.it can last you very long too..
