ok, so i dont have LOADS of money to spend
but i do have some and was planning on getting sum recording stuff

i need to no the microphones + stands + any leads etc
that i may need
this would mainly be used to pc recording rather than a full blown studio recording

any ideas on prices might be good aswell

Thanks, Nick

hmm..

i read about this from many places. most people will say the best recording will be using many mics definitely
tom mics snare mic cymbal mics bass mic. overhead mic. etc etc etc.

however i saw this one video on youtube. tt guy used only one condenser mic and placed it in front of his drum kit and it sounded WOW! so yea. you can try tt. followed by very gd mixing.

If your room acoustics is good, a good recording with minimal mics is very possible. The sound of the room plays a HUGE role in recording a drum kit...the youtube guy probably had great room acoustics to begin with.
