Agree.

The HYPE factor also influences people to buy booteek pedals. When some people here start buzzing about a certain booteek pedal, others also catch onto the buzz and want to own one too. Alas, hype come and go in a flash. The next thing you know, your pedal is no longer the flavour of the month/season! And that is one reason the turn-over (buy and sell) for pedals is generally high. :wink:

Bro Snuff bro, in his first post here, nailed the reason as to why well-designed boutique drive pedals can, and usually do, outshine a production pedal. Its mojo. Basically, its how a pedal interacts with your playing.... the whole feel factor.

Availability isn't that much of a concern - its all online... just click and 1/2 weeks, its on your lap.





Now for the courtesy disclaimer: Production models are fineeeee... they can also outshine boutique pedals... I also will play with production pedals - i got mij DD-3s and CE-2...
