HERE ARE SOME OF MY PERSONAL EXPERINCES WHILE LEARNING HOW TO DOUBLE PADEL.

- Train on your leg muscles
Cycling helps improve the leg muscles.
Jogging helps imporve the leg muscles.

- Heel up for muscluar ties.
- Heel down for Fat ties.

- Avoid swimming 3 days before jamming / gigs.
- Prevent you leg muscle to get cramped due to the cold water.

- Pratice double padeling whenever you get to sit down on a chair or something.

If you got fat ties
- try doing heel up double padeling when your sitting at home, it's better then doing it in public as it's really disgraceful.
- doing heel up double padeling helps you reduce fats on the leg ties.

If you got muscluar ties
- KEEP DOING YOUR HEEL UP DOUBLE PADELING.

that's all i guess.

what kind of question is that? jus buy a pair and start pedalling... start slow and perfect it then slowly increase your speed....

start slow then work it up loh.. it's like singles... but must remember that your legs work like your hands... yup

you could also practise rudiments with your feet. paradiddles, singles, doubles, the lot. there's no really "how" to double pedal. it's like "how do you play drums." you can't really ask it.

use metronome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
warm up your feet before u get started. let say 80bpm 8th note on your right, then left. the play alternately , at the same speed, but ths time u play 4 beat per click. then play some pattern with your hand, to make your feet independent.
that is what i do, and it really work.
make sure your play is under control b4 u speed up
:p

personally i think its all practice practice practice.
Try doing 16ths at any comfortable tempo first.
then slowly push yourself faster.
Make sure you're at a constant tempo though.

Btw, heel ups are alot easier to double pedal than heel down.
But if you want to go FAST for a single pedal, you do it heel down, it allows you to go alot faster.

doesnt really matter the technique i tink,
its all down to practise as much as you can.
and being a drummer, you need to be fit not only with ur arms, but ur legs and back too. so just stay fit, and practise

basically it means, you dont have to do all the practicing at your kit. everythig you do in your daily activities can contribute to your doubles. but yea of course the actual thing benefits you more.
