Which is your preferred sun-genre of doom? I can't get enough of Death Doom, though some will say their not classic.

Mourning Beloveth is one of my fav death/doom bands of all time.. Their latest album 'A Disease For The Ages' are definitely a must listen.. Especially the song 'Trace Decay'..

Heard Anatomia music before.. Gonna check them out again..

I like all doom subgenres.. Being from Traditional to Stoner, Sludge to Death/Doom, Funeral To Drone... I just like them all!! Haha..

For drone doom, it's got to be the mighty Sunn O)))..

heh, then its a good time to start one and be at the forefront of it.

Eyeliner, mascara, black fingerpolish, tight black jeans, dark flora top with scarf, singing about doom day, doom father, doom mother, doom sister who left them, didnt give them a "piak piak" and now the world is so doom and gloomy, its doomcore, at 1bpm for faster tempo songs and 0.69bpm (for the human factor feel with decimal) of ultimate gloom/doomcore!

nah, i know goth, they been around for so long, its no fun to poke them. Its more enjoyable to poke true doom gloom fans who are so doom and gloom, its hard to make them feel emotional inside(without the emo stigma) and try doomcore.

how, i wanna start doomcore band, who wanna join me, putting the emotional side of things into doom and gloom!

I mean, even doomster gloomer also have urge for sex, ciggie, food and other enjoyment in life, so why cant we have feeling in gloom and doom!

im a doom fan too! altho nowdays doom has evolved so much im not even sure its doom im listening to cos there's postmetal, atmospheric doom, stoner, sludge and so on..... big electric wizard fan, swallow the sun, agalloch and candlemass. my favs. check out the funeral doom band colosseum. altho i generally dun really like funeral doom but this band has nice classical influences.

Colosseum is good.. Kinda reminds me of the band Ahab..

But try listening to funeral doom pioneers like Funeral(Nor), Esoteric, Thergothon and stuff..

Although the band Funeral has now become more death/doom.. Their latest album coming out soon and I can't wait to get my hands on that!

doom, from what I heard in America is still very underground also. Only the UK dudes are quite deep into it. So I doubt we can expect much from Singapore. But I love alot of the old school stuff, but some arent like pure Doom. Obviously top favs gotta be Candlemass, My Dying Bride. Swallow The Sun is quite awesome, and fuzz you introduced me to Funeral, and they're great. The recent Daylight Dies sounds promising as well. Also quite into Cathedral, and Witchfinder General.

Katatonia, believe it or not, got me into doom. Great genre. Very original, and shows the darker side of music, without having to hyperblast. I've got almost all the MDB albums. haha

Ah... UK's famous for producing amazing Doom bands. Just like how Scandinavia is famous for Melodic Death and Black Metal.

Anyway, i can't seem to get into the older stuff... When i heard Swallow The Sun's cover on Candlemass's 'Solitude', i find that i prefer the covered version than the original.

im not a fan of Doom . but i listen to them at times. yeah Swallow the sun is nice . as well as Animosity and Amorphis.

Metalcore IS metal in a way. because it has metal elements in it.
but its not PURE metal . thats what ppl say.
for me, its jus some hardcore music thats moving into mainstream.
where even bapoks will start listening to those songs and
sluts who listen to rnb hip hop and those emo emo cry cry songs will start listening too.
on the other hand , if metalcore produces some good music ,
you wont mind listening to it right .
or would you be like ' its nice, but its metalcore , so i hate it . '
so it depends on the kinda music they make actually. some metalcore bands are more hardrock.

but i prefer not to listen to em.
i despise metalcore .
but i do listen to some songs from avenged sevenfold's earlier album.
thats all. lol.
