Why flame someone on the forum? Deal with it personally and if you still don't get any response, let it be. In the end, the seller is going to suffer 'coz he lost a potential buyer. Simple. Now if he does give a lousy excuse for making you wait, then sure, go ahead and make an official complaint on the forum to warn others not to deal with him. The whole i-don't-know-why-he-didn't-reply-but-i-hate-him-for-making-me-wait doesn't appeal to me.

And having your Mom in CCU is serious. You won't get thoughts of closing a deal for one moment. Or maybe, you don't love your Mom so much.

i work in an environment where such incidents are unacceptable. so pardon me if whatever i have said, or what i am about to say may sounds offensive.

base on what sircool described, if you leave sympathy out of the equation, i strongly believe you deserve all that bad reputation. I also do believe it is not difficult to inform others early even in such circumstances. You left somebody waiting like that for so long without making the effort to inform him, anyone who puts himself in the shoes of the buyer would have hated you to the core for that, whether you have a good reason or not. You've have got to understand that the same way you want us to understand your plight.
Several other buy-sell forums have a stickied list of not so credible buyers and sellers, i dont think theres anything wrong with blacklisting someone if he really deserves it. Its a form of consumer protection.

But since sympathy is involved, i am nobody to judge whether your actions are reasonable. So i'll just end my case with a neutral stand.

i once waited for a buyer for 3 hrs..well..simply because his grandmother fell in the bathroom it knocked her out cold.

so yea..after 3 hrs..i decided to sms him..den abt 10 mins later..he replied..he couldnt make it that day cos of his grandmother.
