Doing my 'N' level and thought of joining ITE...

Guys .recently i made a thread regarding this matter...

As im sitting for 'N' level this year(Normal academic), I want to score below 10 points and wanna go straight to HIGHER NITEC without taking the 'O' levels....
But after reading this article on the ITE web ,

I was shocked...so will there still a chance for me to go higher nitec for next year intake??

I really am to put my very best this year and wanna score below 10...

and one more thing, Im staying Simei, and what are ur opinions whereby other colleges are near my house??[besides ite college east and Bedok ite]

You need to ask yourself what you REALLY want to study. Hospitality, F&B or Automoble?

i am stress to go for sec 5..even now sec 4 very hard oredi..

When go NS ,Higher nitec cert is considered gud to compare with SHATEC or Nitec....

you can just continue on that old thread you made abt gg ite or staying for sec5.
you making too much threads that is off the track of purpose of this forum.
if you really have any enquiries about going ite straight or the courses required subjects etc, check with your school teachers.
check the MOE website.there's plenty of info.
or worst you can just go to the MOE building to check with the staff.
next time do think twice about the threads you're making.
it sometimes annoy some of softies, maybe most cos of the stupid questions you asked.

...dude...i really dunno what to say about your question and this thread. that application was for 2007...those who sat for their N levels in 2007. you are sitting for it this year...-_-... you havent even sit for it, not to mention get results, how to apply? -_-...

ITE is definitely not a bad choice nowadays... Despite having the bad image, its still up to the individuals to actually work their way up and i believe that even by going to poly but if ur not into the studies then ur definitely not up for it... Some will go poly, after 2 years drop out... So yea... ITE is definitely on the the rise...

Hi FaizalHacker, why do u wanna choose Higher Nitec over poly or jc ?? What i mean is u come to a conclusion coz u dun wanna take O level?? well if thats your reason then u should really reconsider... O level isnt tat hard , besides u still got 2 years to study for it . hmm regarding the Higher Nitec registration , im not sure bro sorry ... peace

dude...i took my n lvl last year got 9 points just applied for ite but i regretted lucky havent withdraw from school going back to school and take my o lvls u should try it dude...u just need to focus and listen in class loh thats what i tink

imo,ite is full of hype.Been there regretted it.i'm not saying ite is bad,but its not what it said on paper.
If you still choose that route,wished you all the best.

I would have cont.and complete the o level.why take a longer route?
Which have more option,poly/ite?Its been a while...:-x

deciding that you want to go to ite know is just plain giving up and taking it easy. why not work hard the next few months and do your n lvls with the best you have and let your n lvl results tell you if you should go to an ite or a poly

most of you made it sound like ite is bad.. well, it is kind of bad..
cuz when you joined ite, you're tempted to go to the dark side..
because most of the people in there are full of shit..

but the lecturers are helpful and understanding..
and they'll help you if you show them that you're willing to study..

only a minorities of ite students are really amazing..
the rest are just like slacking and wasting their life away..

i should know as i'm from ite college east myself..

anyway dude, just relax on your n levels.
and i'm sure you can make it to o lvls..

btw, which part of simei are u currently living?

err honestly speaking the higher nitec students are better off, nitec students are yeah, slacking , most of the time, well if u plan to go to the ite then my advise to u is that, mix with the correct friends ,choose wisely, don't cause any trouble, and yeah that's about it. oh ya if ur really in it to study then i tip my hat off to you.

but people make ite sound like heaven
ite is worst off than poly and jc, that is something you have to admit

i would like to mix with friends who plays guitar ...So far in my pri and sec life,i havent mix with gangsters yet...NOT EVEN smoking and never even tried before....So am i suit to be in the ITE? coz i really aim for courses...

By the way lightmrwan_sg , Im staying in Simei Street 1 , beside Metta school....are u from normal tech student or acad or even express??and are you nitec or HIGHER nitec currently???I'd like to know more....
