IMO you're right, cos that's what i think too. Like subversion's reviews, they are practically flawless in the design. The 80 model you spoke of, how's it different. Pardon my lack of updated knowledge, but the only two models i know of are the LS75Q and the other bolt-on MIK Les paul...
Never owned an LP before, it's gonna be my first big-money guitar. Damn.. i think i need more reviews on the diff kinds of Tokais available here. Officially, what models are available?
according to Davis, they get many enquieries about these guitars but players are still hesitant when it comes to buying one, maybe it's because of the brand name per se...
I highly doubt it's the brand name, it's got more to do with Davis' biz operations. And having an external locus of control doesn't help them at all.
"Someone with an external locus of control, on the other hand, sees environmental causes and situational factors as being more important than internal ones. These individuals would be more likely to see luck rather than effort as determining whether they succeed or fail in the future, and are more likely to view themselves as the victim in any given situation."
I bet that if Swee Lee brings Tokai in, it will be a different story. But it will definitely affect their Epiphone and Gibson sales.
hey jumbofret, the list you sent us via e-mail, is it confirmed that Tokais are not available. Was scanning for Tokais but didn't see them included, only the Burny. Cos i think if there are more varieties of Tokais Love Rock from importing from Japan, and if it's a little cheaper, definitely many people here will raise their hands and order through you.. haha
Ishibashi has a very good range of Tokai Love Rock, but doesn't have the Talbos etc.
Ikebe doesn't have a good range of Tokai Love Rock, or other good LP copies, so it's a problem. But they do carry the Talbos. Ikebe is leaning towards the Strat/Tele/Super-strat format...
That's one of the reasons why I informed ppl about Agile guitars.
