Does Davis give discount?

Hi, as above, does Davis give discount or is the sticker price fixed?

I'm interested in the Tokai love rock but they only have the LS80 but the guy said can oder other models so i'm trying to figure out if i can afford it.

what is your budget? are you open to other LP copies?

Only looking for Tokai Lespauls cos of the fantastic reviews. since i can't afford a Gibson. I guess i'll have to order from Ishibashi then

I've seen LTD and Burny but Tokai comes closest if not better than the Gibson sound and the finishes are killer!

i ever bought a $200 acoustic from davis and the uncle gave me a pick. Patted me on my back like i just got the best deal in my life.


they dont really entertain bargaining.

Raley, if you got the money to get a MIJ Tokai, get a Orville by Gibson instead. it's alot better than the tokais in Davies. coz the tokai's in davies are only the LS80 model. which is the tokai entry model.

also you tried burny? which model?

I haven't tried Burny's but i seen them at Plaza Sing and i trust Sub's reviews so i was aiming for the Tokai. I wanna get at least the LS120 version which i heard Davis might bring in but so far no new stock.

I wouldn't mind looking at Orvilles but they don't make them anymore so they would be hard to find and quite ex right?

Saw one website that sells orvilles but no reviews on them so i was a bit hessitant.

Anyone got personal experience with Orvilles'?

yes IMO way better than Epiphone, which about sets the standard for LP copies...

i might be looking at the LS120 myself, but the current 75/ 80 models are superb. to think that i dislike them intensely at first...

according to Davis, they get many enquieries about these guitars but players are still hesitant when it comes to buying one, maybe it's because of the brand name per se...

Personally, unless Gibson reduces prices of i strike toto, I'd go for a Tokai man.

Hey Raley, you and i are in the same exact situation! Haha.. like you, heard about great reviews on Tokais and will get one soon i hope. Maybe one day we go see together or something haha.

Well, do they only hav the LS75Q at davis, then one around $1400? Burny's are great too, you might want to check them out. But if you're like me, i think the finish of a Tokai appeals to me better. Love the tone from it..
