My band is all revved up and ready to jam but there's only one problem;my drummer prefers to play with double pedals yet i have no clue which studio in spore has them.Ive been jamming at only wakemeup music and Alvron, none of which have double pedals so if there is any kind soul who can help me out........ :D

there r so many studios in sg now, that it is hard to tell how many of em do not provide double-pedals  Just look around & watch out for the popular ones..

I heard Alvron Studios has a special double pedal. Where you can get double base action by just using one pedal. Is it true?

Wow, thats like magic haha

you mean double basS.

its probably a duallist pedal they got from drum resources ( nigel ). not magic

maybe its the new lazer dble pedal.

its a new range i think  . it has 2 beater..but its a single pedal.

eh think ther`s a certain way to hitting that stuff haha.

i was gonna go alvron but a lot of softies giv them bad comments, r they rly that bad? oyea fourtones uses elims and iron cobras, guit 77 uses iron cobras and TIET for the lousy room they use premier dbl peds... thats all i can remember

Oops sorry. Anyways a pedal with that feature, doesn't it take alot of stamina from just one leg?

double-bass action by hitting one pedal isnt called double bass  its just a bouble-stroke. u can achieve that by heel-toe, or w/ a long board, especially Axis pedals (its a lil easy once u get the hang of it). But if they really mean special as in vip (very impotent pedal), then it could b something like this: http://www.vrukpedal.com/ its called cheating but theres also a steep learning curve (or mayb just need to get used to it). Triple action: http://www.vrukpedal.co.uk/images/preview.mov Who needs this or heel-toe when flatfoot technique on Axis or Pearl Eliminator can bring you 32nd notes at 120bpm :o

guitaralpiss, your mistaken. he was talking about a single pedal with 2 beaters. it may sound like something cool and new that has been brought to alvron. but do not, even in your wildest desperation, go to alvron. they can kiss my ass for the money they've ripped me off. :D i hope they read this.

Wah lau!! Drummer-buah so violent sia..

To the threadstarter, ask ur drummer to bring his own dbl pedals. If don't he/she doesn't have it, its best to acquire one.

i cant believe ppl could buy these kinda pedals. the duallist is the worst of all cheaters. vruk is bad already. i might as well programme the drumworks using a synth or software

I guess I would look at it more like a tool than a cheating device. It helps some people achieve the sound or feel they want. I've not tried it, but has the potential to go very very fast(if that's what you're looking for) which could other wise be harmful in the long term to your heel if done by technique alone.

Besides, its prob more impt on how you use the pedal in contributing to the music than whether you're very skilled or not.
