Do you still Remember your 'First' Pedal?

hey softies. Do you still remember your first ever effects pedal ?

I rememberd mine was a Zoom 1010 Multi effects pedal.... Sold it after a while and got a Boss Dual over drive... and it got sold too. The oldest pedal still with me is a Marshall Drive master imported from England in 1997.

How about yours? Still having it?

The very first one I ever brought home was a Danelectro Daddy O Overdrive! Wasn't even mine, a friend lent to me to try!

My first pedal was the Zoom 505II. I forgot to take out the batteries and it killed the pedal when the batteries leaked. Now I am just using adapter.No more batteries for me.

Gosh...so long ago. My first pedal was a DOD Compressor Sustainer. I didn't even know how to use it properly then. I only bought it because it was cheaper than Boss. Then I bought a Classic Tube, Attacker, Stereo Chorus and Digital Delay. I must say that when I see a DOD pedal being sold in the Buy/Sell section, I always feel tempted to buy it, only because of sentimental sake.

omg love this thread! hyper nostalgic. i was special, my first pedal was a a boss SD1, and i stuck to it for quite some time. absolutely loved it. its really a poor man's smooth OD.

My first pedal was a simple Marshall Jackhammer. That's only cos the distortion channel on the practice amp I owned was really horrible.

mine was MI Audio Crunchbox,was a total noob back then..thought by using 2 distortion at a time would sound nice but it turn out to be very noisy and screeching voice can be heard all the time.. HAHAHA!!! it was connected to DODYJM308.. sold my Crunchbox and my DOD is collecting dust in my wardrobe.. currently using Korg AX1500g..

Mine was Zoom G2.1u. I bought it because I don't know what effects are for and wanted to learn more about different effects. =/
Another reason was that my practice amp's distortion channel really CMI. Zoom G2.1u at least make things sounds better. I only learned to use Zoom stuffs properly after many months later though.
