do clear guitar knobs exist?

I'm currently thinking of doing a little LED project on my guitar knobs. it would be cool to install LEDs into a piezo/EMG equipped guitar since there is already a 9V battery present. however for me to install LEDs for the knobs, I have to get clear knobs first. otherwise, I would be quite pointless to install LEDs in them in the first place right  ?

I've searched Davis and certain online guitar stores for those knobs. unlucky me, I couldnt find anything like them. Les Paul kind of knobs are kinda big for my liking. I mean, imagine them on an Ibanez or Fender.

personal preference maybe.

then I bumped into http://www.standardvalue.com.sg/ . the Sound Drive amplifiers that they carry have the kind of knobs that I'm looking for. looks cool on the amp but it certainly wouldnt look too cool on a Fender or Ibanez guitar. :x headache!

so... have any of you guys seen any clear plastic knobs around? I might have to make them myself if I really cant find any around :(. help appreciated thanks!

with regards to how to install LEDs into the knob..... I've no idea. I'll think about that when I do find the knobs eventually.

I'm actually looking for these kinda knobs in particular. ok, now imagine them to be clear instead of metal. I know its hard to imagine coke to be pepsi but come on guys, I need some help  .

Hmm.

Custom-make perhaps? Have you any experience in lathing down an Acrylic rod section and buffing it to shine?

I've done something like this back in secondary school for D&T, and while it takes abit of skill.. once you get it.. it's like riding a bike.. you'll never forget how to do it.

Speaking of knobs, um, where can I find cream-coloured speed knobs?
Davis?? Gibson doesn't sell their knobs in cream do they?

thanks! man, those knobs gave me some wild ideas on customising :)

crystal pepsi in this case

haha dude! you reminded me of swarovski crystals. now that would be blinding!

yeah I was thinking of that. the process is like going to take one whole day and all. after that have to rout here and there for the LEDs to slip in. major headache man.

if I have no choice, thats the only route to go

Hmm.

bro, spend the time and effort, and you can custom your own knobs.. why not?

Sure beats getting out and buying something which every father mother son has on their guitar.

haha the thing is, what if I have a few knobs lying around? maybe people might buy, then it would be the same thing.

however, I shouldnt count my chickens before they hatch. not as if I have plans to mass produce custom knobs  .
