my love for country is due to prolonged listening to the eagles. then it spread from there. i love crosby, stills, nash and young, poco, the byrds, willie nelson. been listening to alot of chet atkins stuff also.

And how is a country thread not without Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, Bob Wills & His Texas Playboys, Hank Williams and Hank Jr, Patsy Cline, David Allan Coe, Brooks & Dunn, Brad Paisley & Brent Mason/Dan Huff/Albert Lee/Redd Volkaert/the Taylor guitars dude?

Taylor Swift is pop with her own country background. I don't think you can really say you listen to country if you just listen to sweet Miss Swift. Gretchen Wilson, Carrie Underwood, Sugarland, Emmalou Harris, Allison Krauss, Leann Rimes would be better into what female country is more entailing. Dixie Chicks are nice~

wow... i didn't noe so many of u listen to country stuff. Especially breen. U seem to noe a lot of great country music artistes. I always thought i was alone in this kind of music. I really like the country pop stuff too. Rascal Flatts and Sugarland are my fav bands. And i do listen to taylor swift too. I also go crazy when i see albert lee playing the guitar. Im interested in the Nashville scene.

I feel in love with Jennifer Nettles when I saw their video of Stay on youTube. I mean it was just a simple but properly well done video. Yeah it's a cheatin' song so thats not too nice but its a tradition in country since the 40s haha.

And Nashville has the best musicians compared to anywhere in the world. One studio worth in Nashville can be worth an entire country.
