Divided by 13 JTR 9/15 Amplifier

Need some comments from you people.
What is your thoughts on this amp with regards to sound quality and value.

You're thinking of spending more than $3k on this at the piece at Blackwood?

Do it.

It's awesome. I plugged in a normal American Standard. The tones I got made the guitar sound like a Custom Shop Suhr. Imagine if I plugged a REALLY good guitar in there. Wah lan eh...

Then again, the 9w 6v6 channel was all I wanted. I think the EL84 channel is a bit wasted.

Starting from right to left, the single input of the amplifier (high and low sensitivity) feeds the inputs of two 5879 Pentodes, each with its own volume control and blendable. Each is voiced differently: one is brighter with more clean headroom while the other is gainier and thicker in the low mids. Added to this volume is a 6 position switch which offers a "bright cap" selection. The last knob is a high cut for the overall amplifier. The "Mode" toggle provides a selection of either 9+ Watts with 6V6s, or 15+ Watts with EL84s, offering and exceeding the best tones available in some of our favorite late 50's American 6V6 amplifiers, and our favorite EL84/EL34 English amplifiers.

Its JRT 9/15 !!??

It uses 5879 pentodes into a click switch ....
All the dirt in one tube....i no likey:???:

Great how a DC30 can evolve ...nice.

What about a LP?

I didn't try it with an LP (cos I'm not a fan), but I did try it with a HH Tom Anderson that was there. It was amazing. Both the guitar and amp were fantastic quality instruments. The tones I got clean were amazing. The creamtone I plugged thru it were fantastic too.

All I can surmise is that single coil or humbuckers, this amp is really good. Kills any AC30 I've tried.

Divided by 13 is distributed By Guitareast: you guys can it there with their High End Guitars like Tyler, Nash & Teye Guitars
