You have to tell us what kind of tone you're looking for, otherwise it's difficult for us to recommend anything for you. Perhaps list a few songs/bands or something.

All the bands u stated use very different setups and tones. I like the fetto nord 70 but its out of your budget and wont do queen, Brian May uses a treble booster into a ac30 which doesnt get anywhere close to what the other bands sound like.
I think a versatile mid gain distortion would do it for u but I cant really think of any good ones right now.. U could try the OCD, sound alchemy is having a sale on them this month.

I'd say a Goose Seventhheaven. It's very very tweakable, good stuff. Or you could try a Wampler. Secondhand most likely.
