Anyone could recommend me any gd distortion pedals, v versatile range of sounds kind.. Suitable for creating Anberlin, Alter bridge n oso some J-rock sounds.

Just checked the cool cat metal at davis. It's nt bad bt i find it more worth to buy the ds-1 if i wanna buy the adaptor wif it too.. My budget is 60-70 bucks. Thnx.

You should be able to get a secondhand Beta Aivin HM-200, or if you're lucky, a Boss Metalzone though the HM-200 is superior tonewise. I have one and it's a very versatile high-gain distortion pedal. It's tone is quite modern-sounding, so it should be your cup of tea. It also has three-band equalizer (low, high and middle) so you can get quite a lot of tones out of it.

"Good" distortion pedal at 60-70 and "versatile" as well will be pretty ass hard to find. Suggest increasing your budget.. Check out Biyang pedals for affordable and not bad pedals..

As for me, for a cheap and versatile pedal, I'd get a BYOC Mighty Mouse second hand.. If you don't know, RATs are great as boosters to push an amp, to act as a standalone overdrive, and can even hold its ground in the high gain territory albeit sounding a LITTLE fuzzy (not that it is a bad thing, the fuzz gives it an overall smoother quality).. I, enjoy, rats. Period!
