DIGITECH - THE WEAPON

Anyone own or tried this pedal out already? Think its going for $312 at swee lee.
I'm a big fan of Dan Donegan's guitar tone. Just wondering if its worth the money though, cos, at 300 bucks, i'd rather get a boutique pedal.

there are guitar publications out there singing praise for this pedal but having tried it, i prefer Peavey Bandit's on-board distortion better. i think some of the reviews i read on this pedal is a little overblown. it sounds mushy at high volume settings, that's what i dislike about it. the scooped tone offered by one of the settings can also be achieved with BOSS' Metal Zone.

i can't get to terms with the price tag either...
