digital piano or keyboard

I just want to play some pop music songs, not really looking for anything really complicated, as long as can hear and recognise the tune of the pop song.

which should i learn, digital piano or keyboard?
what is the real difference between digital piano or keyboard, except for the sound difference?

Piano keys are heavier in the lower octaves and lighter in the higher. Piano keys are heavier than keyboard keys.
Piano keys will sound only when the bottom is hit, keyboard will sound if just depress a little.

Both 'should' allow you to be able to allow you to play the melody.
