Delay question!

hey guys.i need ur help on this.i know that delay pedals are usually the last of the pedal chains but is it ok to but it at the front? im asking this because i realised that my delay sounds better at the start of my chain and was wondering if it is technically wrong.

i believe, correct me if im wrong, that whatever sounds good to u is good for u.

erm would u like to put ure delay back to the end and not let it sound nice? if it dun bug you and that is the correct method, then go ahead.

It'll be dependent on what your chain has. I haven't try putting a delay infront of a distortion before. But as wad ngjingming has said, whatever that works for you, just do it!

wow so ur getting something like a distorted delayed clean tone... i never ever tried it out that way b4 cuz i thought that it would be super messy but if it really works well thats uber cool

yup.i actually get this messy 'techno' delay sound thats really cool.haha
