do check out the
Classic Albums DVD - Machine Head by Deep Purple.
very good DVD documentary of the making of Machine Head album !!!
retails at $10 at all Music Junction shop.
besides, I bought other DVD documentary of the making of classic albums
eg. Pink Floyd - dark side of the moon
metallica - the black album (enter sandman)
paul simon - graceland
elton john - goodbye yellow brick road
stevie wonder - Songs in the key of life
stevie wonder

yes he has the unique voice but that shows it all up when he was with whitesnake!! .. POWER BRADER!!!

morse and blackmore are equally great in their own way..
i must say, morse is a fking great composer..
go to youtube and type steve morse band..
check out his instrumental songs..
very nice and super duper creative..
sounds funky..
blackmore, on the other hand, has a great,great tone,
who can create a killer lick and riff..
in deep purple, all the musicians are hero..
non of them suck..
be it the original members or not..
similarly to led zeppelin n black sabbath and all the other rocknroll bands..
i strongly think that musicians in the 70s are heroes, they were so good
in what they do..be it guitarist, singer,etc..
after so many donkey years, people in bars still go crazy when u start a deep purple's riff, like smoke on the water..
