Death of Zombie Rock Bar

Its been confirmed... Zombie Rock Bar is changing management.

No more heavy metal, hard rock, death metal...

HELL NOT EVEN PUNK ROCK!~ Ohhhh the agony~~~~~!

The new management will be playing top 40's music with a filipino band, just like the rest of the money-hungry prostitute-laudering pubs at orchard towers... such a disappointment.

Here's your last few chances to bask in metal dvd's while it lasts...

huh?

really ah? i was just abt to go sia next month.. walawey.. like that i must carry on with my same old habit..

not enuf metal heads? are u kidding. i thot the apart from the metal scene here, singapore music ddnt really have much.

No spending power from consumers. Overheads high.

I'm surprised the owner had what it takes to push it this far.

Nice run though.

Yeah, O well. Where do I drink now? I hate clubbing and get bored of most bars. Is Zombie closed now or still running for a short time?

Aren't you underage? :p

Eh. Wala wala? The 2nd floor i think got live band performing eh. And another pub along the holland v. i live there heh.

its not changed management yet, but the posters are already coming down and Noizegate (the resident band) is no longer playing.

i figure we have about a month before its all over.

its not that there aren enough metal-heads, but lets face the fact here. Of so many gigs that have been organised at Zombie, how many of the supporters who come down drink more than their first-drink then sit thru the whole night.

the fact is that the metal-heads in Singapore aren't very generous with their ordering of drinks, be it maybe poor or stingy. It doesn't help that a big part of the metal fans aren even of legal drinking age, much less financially capable.

anyhow i'm not generalising, its just an observation i'm sure many will agree with.

wat say we all go show our support and appreciation for Singapore's coolest rock bar IMO before the management changes? Any supporters? 8)
