As u may have heard, our "Xing Yao" - Singapore Tunes founder, Huang Yuan Chen, had pass away in Beijing.
He started his singing career in the early 80s and had started a company, Butterfly Records, with a few partners.
Though he's active in mostly the chinese music industries, his company had train and create a few stars here in Singapore such as Chen Jie Yi "Kit Chan", Ah Du, Lin Jun Jie, etc.
With him passing on, his believe and spirit in local music won't fade away. May all the musicians here will grow and bloom the local music industries.
