dead fret

i recently lowered the bridge on my epiphone les paul, then i realised that the 16th fret played the same note as the 17th fret, unless i press the string in really hard on the 16th fret.

anyone can tell me how or where i can get it fixed? i would greatly appreciate it. thx!

did u knock the frets?
sometimes its caused by the strings. like a nick or dent in it.
try changing strings first
