Currently favoring the normal DR strings. Any other recommendations? Cheap, long lasting and feels good?

DR strings are too taxing on the frets- that’s why I refrain from using them but they are very appropriate if you strum/ pick hard… bbut still I have a set of DR black coated strings on my fender & wouldn’t settle for anything else…

watcha mean by "too taxing on the frets" ?? It wears ur frets faster? If that´s so, it ain´t very good right? =D Cos i´d rather go thru more strings then pay for a re-fret job

But those DR seems to last very long and sound good still.



N yea, Davis´s sale is 10% of guitars n other stuffs. Strings 5%.

Yeah DRs are kinda hard for the frets but thusfar I have no problems with them plain/ black coated. I suspect those who find the DR taxing on their guitar frets have soft frets there…
