They seem to be nice guitars for the money since they're unique in tone(I can't think of a budget to medium-priced manufacturer that offers lipstick pickups except Samick) and aesthetics.

There is a reissue U2 at guitar connection. I think they also have a couple of vintage pieces. head down to have a look. they have some of the quirkiest guitars around.

Yeah, I've tried the 56 U2 reissue at gc. Apparently going for quite cheap, about 600 if i rmb correctly, I might get it if i have spare cash. Basically it's an interesting guitar, nice clean and dirty tone. Suitable for you if your looking for a vintage tone, the guitar definitely rings.
