Fun, music and friendship! The Dancing Nancies celebrate all three with each exciting concert featuring their unique brand of powerful, melodic pop combining funk, reggae, rock, jazz, latin, blues and more!
The Dancing Nancies write songs with little attention to fitting a formula – the only requirement is that all of the band's members must be happy with the finished product. The result is an exciting combination of the influences and creativity of the seven players. Keyboardist Dharmadi belts out the band's orchestrated tunes. Bassist Dharmawan excels at slapping pop-funk ditties. Vocalist/guitarist Sharom's wide range of influences allows him to write and play multi-genre tunes. Percussionist Djasman has a great ear for music theory from his deep appreciation of some of the greats, and drummer Haikel helps propel the band with his fresh new ideas and solid rhythm foundation.
