Cymbal bags

Since we've got a stick bag thread going strong, here's one for our beloved bronze pies.

What do you guys use?

I'm looking for this actually, anyone knows where/price locally?

All the cymbal bags I've seen seem to be <$100 here...

Warwick rockbags can be bought at Swee Lee. Not sure about the prices though.

I've been using Protection Racket cymbal bag for some time. A little on the costly side (>$100). But the thick padding and cotton dividers offer good protection for the cymbals when I carry it around for jams and gigs a lot. Retails at Drum Resources.

If I am not mistaken, SL did not bring in the Rockbag cymbal bag. I have one for the snare drum. The value for money cymbal bag can be found in Ranking - 'Road Ready'... a 22" with multiple internal compartments and an external compartment... $45...

Lol, nolah bro. Tis wan is jus more durable, can carry more. Tat wan normally i carry at most hi hats and 2 crashes. Tis one i can squeeze my Ride and splashes too.

i only have standard Sabian bag and cheap Ritter Junior bag. I'm planning for Zildjian hardcase. But i wonder, if its ok if we stack all the cymbals together? Metal to metal touching?

Hardcases have a centre bolt which holds the cymbals firm and also with some leeway.

For the centre bolt, you can do what you do for cymbal stands, put a rubber tube over the thread. As for between cymbals, if the case doesn't come with felt pads, you can find your own ways mah - cloth, bubble wrap.. etc.
