Hey there! does anybody know if its possible to customize a plastic for a pickguard? For example, if i buy a new guitar but unfortunately someone took it off, is there anyway to customise that plastic to protect that pickguard? Im afraid it will get scratches and will get dirty... Some have suggested Peninsula. But has anyone actually done that? need some advice... thanks:)

haha. but the pickguard is like the nicest part of the guitar. So i gotta protect it first? haha. hopefully a plastic on it. Dont really wanna buy checkered guard when i already have one? really no where sell plastic which can custom fit it ah? thanks ryanz and dudelove for replying! haha.

ahahaha OHH.. okay. u like the pickguard...

hahah erm from experience with 2 guitars that have pickguards, even with excessive strumming, the scratches on the pickguard really aint obvious.

if u still insist, hmmm.. i really dont know.. haha sorry.

good choice of guitar though!

It"ll be hard to find. But do not put plastic sheet with glue content to protect the pickguard or else the paint will come off should you decide to remove it.;)

The pickguard is nice, but some guitars dont have them..

dudelove:haha thanks dudelove! fell in love with the checkered. wierd for girl. but i dunno? macam cool. haha. but anyway it fits my travis barker signiture bag. the checkered and very first one. lol. excessive strumming i know... but black and white, from my expereince, the white part does get dirty):

ryanz: haha no glue laaa! goodness ill never put glue:)

kokz: yea its nice, thats why i got it. no la cause it squier by fender.. so the brand not too bad. and i heard complimens about it.

why dont u remove the pickguard, wrap the whole thing around in the plastic sheet of ur choice, pull it tight and taut, and maybe scotch tape the ends at the back of the pickguard, then screw it back in?

see if it works. :?

oops double post just now. haha i dont dare remove the pickguard la.. i dun dare remove anything from gitars escept strings. drums can, guitar i dont dare:)
