Customized LPs

I've seen quite a number of friends do their own custom les pauls by buying the bodies and necks. wondering if theres anyone i can do up a set neck les paul of my own if i can get the body and neck proper?

I assume ur friends get their bodies and necks from either Warmoth USA or USACG? In any case, it is impt that u find a gd luthier to do the job. It might cost a bomb but its better than letting an inexperienced guy screw up ur guitar. Malcolm (www.mtlutherie.com) wld be the best guy for the job. For more advice, pm shredcow, he had his done by Malcolm.
