Finally, my latest project is done after 3 weeks of hard work. I was 'commissioned' to build this neck for a top fingerstyle player whom many of you might be familiar with. Perhaps the inlay will leave a clue. Anyway here are the pics in the final stages of completion. I will post pics of the building process at a later date. Showing off is more important for now :p

Guitar is strung and it's a major improvement over the stock Godin mahogany neck. Tone is fuller, intonation is vastly improved. The player is now happily gigging with it and it's my most immensely gratifying project so far.

Crazy...

Kc you are the god!
I think you even taught god how to build guitars rite?

Omg....

Hmm.

^^^ Madness lah. Next time must become top rock and roll player and commission you to build a neck for me as well :p

Hey Mr Edder, when will our beer session be? Then we can discuss on a 24 string signature neck I can build for u :p

come for TAGS! I'm bringing a 6L Conkerwood Black Ale. Sorta like a Porter or a lighter stout.

never say earlier you can make necks... I've already ordered from USACG!

Ok man, I'll be there! Well, I think USACG will be a cheaper route for you as I'm a bonehead who handbuilds without much power tools so USACG will be the cheaper option. The advantages you'll have when asking me to build are totally customizable options like neck profile, headstock shape, wide variety of tone woods etc.

great see you there! and make sure you don't make any beer bottle opener headstock aka the custom carpenter deluxe studio special.
