Curvy Lefties

Hey Softies, so my acoustic guitar, which is basically a pretty good Ovation copy, cracked at the head, right around the nut area. I don't even wanna look at it anymore, it looks like my baby committed suicide. T_T Very very sad I learnt so much using that guitar.

Wanna ask if any of you here know where I can find curveback lefties? This guitar that cracked was originally a right-handed, and I had it flipped to the left. I believe this gave the guitar stress in areas that the craftsman did not expect it to, and might even have contributed to the... the suicide. So I'd rather not do the same for my next acoustic. It would be nice to know if City Music could order Ovation lefties in, but well I'm moving into electric stuff now, so while I would appreciate an Ovation lefty if anyone has too much money, I don't really see the point of getting a good replacement. Something that brings the sound I want will very much do.

Thanks in advance for your advice guys. :)

Why don't you get your guitar repaired? I think Maestro does a pretty good job with acoustic guitars.

Yeah. If the headstock breaks off at the nut area, it can be glued back, though there's always the chance that too much stress will cause the two pieces to separate again.

Not sure where you can find these but I've tried a 'Grand' guitar before. Like a thin-body ovation complete with pickup and bowl-back. Perhaps anyone who knows where to find these could shed some light on them? I personally found it a very nice guitar, even unplugged. Great playability and good tone despite the thin body.

Can this be repaired? It's far from a clean cut.
