Hi guys,

got a problem here. Got a crybaby bass wah, that i intend to mod to guitar spec. But first, the pedal travel is too limited in its range! full toe down wont hit the switch and there is limited movement in the heel position too.

can anyone tell me how to adjust this?

thanks

open it up, look at the part where the pedal connected to the pot, see how the gear teeth touches and whether can it be removed.

Its really really really hard to put in words even thou it might not be difficult to adjust. In short, open it up yourself and play around. If dont want, bring it back to the place, person you gotten it from hopefully they can do something bout it.

Seriously, its really hard to put in words(i'll try anyway), its either you try on your own to remove the pot, adjust the shaft properlly first, put it back in and try rocking the pedal over the whole range and see if everything is ok.

a pot shaft can only turn left to right and right back to left, when you rock the wah pedal, the shaft underneath that pedal is connected to the pot via those gear teeth. So if you wanna adjust, you have to separate these 2 contact, adjust the pot shaft to minimum/slightly above minimum or the opposite(pot at max or slightly below max) , once done, put everything back again as how you dismantle in the first place, try irocking the pedal again and see if theres any difference

if still cannot, bring it to where you got it from or bring to any shops and see if they willing to help. If you still wanna do it yourself, just try some more. The adjustment is purely mechanical, nothing electronic involved, so it prolly wont damage anything, but then, hehe, since anything also got risk, and if you wanna do it yourself, then you gotta take it..
