Crybaby Bass problem

hey , guys got this prob with my bass crybaby: i cant seem to turn it off!... it says just leave it heel down, and it will turn off, but it still feels "on" (extreme wah-like tone suck)... so is this normal? if not then how to turn the bloody thing off?!?!?

There might be a button at the heel area, maybe should click harder when you depress the pedal. Like the guitar wah maybe?
