Creed reunion. your views?

well, this is old news, i'm pretty sure almost everyone knows about it already, but Creed are getting back together to record a new album and do a tour. Alter Bridge won't die though. anyway there's some stuff i want to know about. i've never been a Creed fan(in fact i didn't even know they exsisted until Alter Bridge came along LOL), so really, i want to know why Creed split up in the first place? was it because of Scott Stapp being a lovelovelovelovelovelovelove asshole?

and what do you feel about this Creed reunion? i'd say i feel happy for them, since they look like their all super duper excited about gettin back together and all that, but in my opinio Alter Bridge is waaaaaaaaay better than Creed. I'm not going to touch Creed's stuff, but i'll definitely get Alter Bridge's new stuff when they finally release it. so what are your views on this?

i agree that my sacrifice is a good song. there're a few Creed songs i like. but on the whole i still prefer Alter Bridge alot more. their heavier, harder and bolder

Same. I prefer Alter Bridge, not necessarily heavier but bolder. Apparently Mark Tremonti had a lot of limits on his playing due to Scott Stapp. Furthermore, if there is Scott Stapp, there won't be Brian Marshall. And Brian's a great bassist!

So on the whole I prefer Alter Bridge over Creed.

Well, i really don't know if it's a good idea Creed getting back together. And I don't wanna get into which band is better.

Eitherway, having Scott around again woud be awesome for me. I've always been a huge fan of his highly distinct vocals. And yeah, i'm very sure it's a possibility that he will piss them off again somehow & reignite old feelings that may lead to breakup #2.

i don't like to get into which band is better either haha... but i do prefer Alter Bridge more. could anyone explain to me why Creed broke up in the first place? i know Scott Stapp pissed everyone else off, but how?

I think they are doing it for the money , alter bridge is a better band but creed had a larger fanbase, maybe also more mainstream than alter bridge


Hope they quickly get this album over with n then alter bridge can continue with theirs

Will AB's bassist be playing in the reunion? I recalled the bassist and Stapp had serious issues with one another.
