As I said it's quite a joke to sue someone saying that the Artist > Album > Song method of music management is copied from them. I wonder who actually approved Creative's patent on that.

If you really wanna dig into "Patent", there are really quite a numbet of patents which people may feel ridiculous...

I think people still like iPod for the simple reason of good manufactured product.

Creative in the past is known for flaws in their earlier MP3 players,
the Americans are always better in electronics.

Yeah, Apple counter sued Creative the same day Creative launched their lawsuit.

History lesson.

Lindy Fralin created a humbucker that everyone loved. He made them in double cream, which at that time was not found on any humbuckers.

Later on, Dimarzio made some pickups with the double cream colour. They then patented it.

Dimarzio then sued Lindy Fralin for making double cream pickups and forced him to close shop.

Fralin had to start over.

In the business world basically the bigger company wins. It doesn't matter if their product is better or worse or if they have the patent or not. If they do not have the patent they will just drag the case with repeated appeals until the lawyer fees kill the smaller company.

Hurrah for creativity. Dimarzio now owns patents for chrome pickups too. Someday I'll patent blue t-shirts and you'll all have to pay to wear blue

IMO....creative shld make better mp3s....maybe better quality but a lil cheaper than ipod...
all my frens rather tkae ipod over creative becuz ipod's wheel allows u to choose songs easily...
while the creative muvos...and some other models...need u to press and press to select a song...

either way, i wish they made ipod minis again. IMO they're alot more sexier, the metallic crayola colours. hoorah sexy mp3 players!
