Creative prodikeys dm

Hi guys,

I bought this midi controller Prodikeys DM but i got one prob, sound lag....when i press a key the sound comes in after 0.5 sec later , its a big prob if i play more than one key on a metronome to for recording, so i bought SB Audigy soundcard(which i thought sound lags or laps due to motherboard sound card), any can help with this?

Hi midnite, the latency is not due to the midi controller. Midi signals travels pretty fast. It's your soundcard.

After using Audigy, did the latency problem resolve? Which software are you using for generating the sound?

Make sure ASIO is selected as your driver in your audio software.

when i go back ill check but i use the software which comes with the box cant remember but its the default prog for the prodikeys dm... im kinda noob on this too can u gimme details of what must be done ..like what driver to install what software should i use do i disable this or that.. thnx man btw

Welcome to the world of getting lower latency. It's a really deep rabbithole. You should first check out what ASIO is on the net.

Jenglot i paid $70 for it. Is this common prob for Prodikeys?

anyone have the driver only for the prodikey dm? I lost my driver cd.. pls post or upload it.. tq
