Hey, anyone here been to clarke quay's Crazy Elephant Pub?
I went there yesterday, and there's a band performing.
I was like OMG, the band is damn amazing. They played mainly blues, the band consisted of the ang moh playing on the rhy guitar, and i think on the lead guitar, the guy is called john.. And they were very good, because they perform songs that really suited to the ang moh's vocals, with a little slang emotion and accent added to it, it really feels so bluesy.. then the lead guitarist is even more jaw-dropping.. he plays the whole 5 minutes solo.. omg..

does anyone know of this band and can tell me more about it? and what are their band names?
and think they have a contract with that pub and perform there on some nights, how much do you think they are paid?

Crazy Elephant has been around since 1994. Used to jammed there a few years ago and the band is crazy. John Chee (nick name: Jimi Chee) is the co-owner of Crazy Elephant. They are one of the finest blues band in Singapore. Deep Purple, REM, Robbie Williams and Ronan Keating have jammed there before. If you're interested to jam with the band, Sunday will be the night!
