Just to get an idea, how may of you guys and gals here are playing Cort guitars and basses? Would just like to get a feel of how you all feel about the instruments, quality, playability, price and all that. Just like to hear more of personal opinions than gear reviews.

My friend is considering plonking in some cash for a Cort acoustic axe. I do encourage it, cos I'm using one in church, and it's been serving great. Any reviews, warnings or what not to share?

Just try them out in shop... And look for something that sounds good. The specs are great on paper but do try before you pick them up.

I have 2 Cort Axes.

G250P and the MR 740.

Enjoying both very much.

always wanted to buy 1, but never got the chance to settle down with 1, theyre great axes and very value for money, both their acoustics and electrics

cort is not bad, but the g series suck. the newer ones at swee lee are not too bad though.

i have a cort m200.. dirt cheap guitar but plays good. fast fretboard (well to me) adn definately value for money
cheap stuff seems more rugged dont u tink?

Haha, cheaper stuff you'd have no qualms banging the shit outta them. Try playing rough with a Taylor.

I did talk to Lawrence from Allmusic about Cort acoustics. Seems like the high-end range isn't that well-stocked here cos not many people buy them. They're not household names like Fender or Gibson. But glad to know there's a community of Cort players here. Hope you dun feel so lonely now.

Yeah, me thinking of getting a Cort acoustic too. Will have to check it out further.

cort basses. really quality stuff.(of course it is... it costs 2k)
but it's not the kinda bass you wanna place on your lap.. feels really really weird. talking bout the one at swee lee aljunied(white)

Try the new ones retailing a Swee Lee (brash basah).....it has EMG pickups and a licensed Floyd Rose bridge....

Looks good...price is resonable too....about 900 before discount......

Cort's M200 is one of the better beginner guitars i've come across, period.

for floating vibrato stuff, i prefer investing in the Ibanez version/ original FR. if you are keen on a whammy option & still desire a Cort, the Hiram Bullock model is recommended:
