i would think Ibanez should be pronounced as ee-ba-nez. They started out as a Japanese company, assuming in jap pronounciation..."I" would be ee?

another one i was thinking about today

exodus

ex-o-dus (pronounced like bus)
or
exod-us

but how about xavier? is it xa-vier or is it ex-a-vier?
