is there a difference between a baritone guitar and piccolo bass apart from their tuning?
cos both have pretty similar scale lengths.

lol, 34" baritone? :)

heh, the suggestion was a bit of tongue in cheek.

Was wondering at the same time if budget aint a problem, functionality wise aside, but just converting it to a baritone, will it actually make the instrument interesting enough for making sound in general and making some listenable music, without looking at the usual tone

on another note, i have compared side by side, a mij jaguar baritone and yamaha bb1500 bass neck, from nut(of both instrument) to about 15/16 fret of the bass neck, the baritone neck width is comparable/similar to the bass neck width. I supposed if with the bass neck scale length, the string spacing will become much wider as it approach the bridge. Usual guitar bridge most likely wont work well.

get some super light bass strings, alternatively heavy guitar ones, string it up baritone tuning, capo high up. low end rhythm guitar-in-a-bass?
