Constant rattling when playing

Whenever I hit the snare drum, it rattles.
The rattling is like you know, when you're jamming with your band or whatever and the drums aren't playing and the bass or guitar or whatever makes the snare "rattle". That's what I'm talking about.

I've tried tightening/loosening the heads, I've tried tightening the sides of it and pulling the snare wire to make it tighter so it wont rattle, not working.
I'm a real drum noob so I have no idea, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Eh, did you check your snare wires? Some of them could be worn out or the tension is not even. All the wires should be equally tensioned otherwise you'll end up with some loose ones that will rattle a lot. If they are worn out then you'll have to get the strainer replaced.

Ah ok how much would that cost?

So is it your snare that rattles or the snare at the jamming room? U could try telling the person in charge. If he/she is kind enough, they will change for U. That's QC. If it's yours then have to change the wire, will sound better and cleaner. Not nice to hear the rattles during guitar solo, sounds not clean though is not your fault.

Cheers
