Constant Buzzing...........

My setup as follows -

Amp - H20 - DS-1 - BD-2 - Ge-7 - Vox Wah - Guitar

All running on OneSpot

Thing is when ever i activate the DS-1..the buzzing is heard. It varies from different guitars

Once the DS-1 is deactivated , everything becomes clear again. The BD-2 did not cause any buzzing when used.

Am i right to conclude it could be the DS-1 causing the buzzing or the shielding in each guitar?

when u said your DS1 is activated, is your BD activated too? stacked overdrive and distortion caused the problem?

if not, try taking out ur DS1 and try it own its own. still hum? then DS1 fault.

or try switching places on the two drives.

The DS-1 is a notorious pedal for noise.. If it is not the DS-1, then it may also be the cables employed in the set-up, or the lack of grounding in the amplifier used.

i've had a similiar incident like this before. i solved it by placing my MFX pedal last in the line. my MFX caused a lot of buzzing and humming when it was placed before all my pedals.

so my point is, trying switching the position of your ds-1, it might help.

Sounds like your DS-1 is working :D lol.

Seriously, just isolate the problem... plug your DS-1 all by itself and see if the buzzing sound is still occurring. I agree with Godspeed64 that it might be amp's grounding..

since i only have the ds-1 and bd-2 , i used them in isolated position and its true!! The blardy DS-1 buzzing like a old woman!! its real funny cos this happened on recently.. previously everything was quite quiet
