I'm looking for one too. I heard the tone press is not bad but I'm a more budget dude. And I want something without coloration too

Analogman's CompROSSor. Went comp hunting with a friend and he picked this one. Sounded so good that it made me consider getting one, and I generally like uncompressed tones!

I'd recommend the Barber Tone Press. Have tried quite a few and find myself coming back to it.

Really depends on what you are looking for.
If you want that squish, you'd do well looking for a Ross Style comp.
If you want warmth with subtle compression, the Boss CS-2 is amazing (prefer it to FGC).
If you want sparkle and chime with compression, then the FGC has a sweet EQ section of compression.
If you want to blend in your clean tone, the TonePress or EGO Comp are good choices.
For me, I love my M87 Bass Compressor that I use for guitar. Second favourite is CS-2 and behind that the FGC. More on the M87:
