anyway, thats not the point.
the point is, which is better?

Boss MT-2 vs. Marshall Jackhammer.

i kinda sick of MT-2 cause its like
sounding more and more "digital".

but then again, i'm afraid to buy marshalls.
cause might burn my pocket hole for nothing. if u guys know what i mean.

I will go for the Jackhammer... more versatile tone-wise and have true bypass. Its much cheaper too (what burn hole?!) at around $100.

However, don't belittle the MT2... with proper settings, it can still rock.. just don't use the old scooped mids thing on it...


Oh yeah... My ears prefer the marshall crunch too lah... so thats why.

Oh.. i see you own an MT2 too... Hey, work with it a little while more... it is actually a very heavy metal sounding pedal.

Try this setting.
Bass = 1pm
treble = 11am
Mids = 2pm
Mid Freq = 12nn
Gain = 12nn

Try that.... it will sound less harsh and trebly.

i got the Jackhammer and u hv to get one of those babies man.

it can do all kindsa stuff if u play wif it long enough.

its a great gadget.

trust worthy too!

The jackhammer istrue bypass... take out all power sources and a signal still passes thru.

EDIT: Now now now... wait a minute... I've always been under the impression that all marshal pedals are TB... however, i jsut went to the marshall website and they state passive. Have marshal changed the specs? I rem that my old JH was TB: no power, signal still goes thru.

In fact if u really wanna knw which to chose, go look arnd and try ur choices out! datz the best way!

as for me, all i've got is ---> a Marshall JackHammer, a CH-1 Boss Chorus and a Morley Pro Series 2 Wah Wah Pedal.

i mean how much can a guitarist ask for man ???

it completes my rig to wat i want! but im tinking of a DiGitech Delay which is now way too X for my budget!

but wif wat ive got, im doing great. as i can create my own signature tone
(i don rely or use Multi Effects) i feel great as i can feel my music through my hands and body!

as for between the both, i'll recommend the Jack of course as u can play wif the different tones and stuff. mess long wif it and ur there my man! anything u can juz hit me at 98581246 i'll be glad to pass u more info!
