Yes the multiplayer is very good. Should be able to keep you busy/entertained for a year. Heck i was still playing COD 4 a week before MW2 released..

Yeah, the multiplayer is good but I prefer COD 4 better in MP. It's more easier to use than in MW 2 but the graphics in MW 2 are great! =)

Anyone know what that "disturbing mission" was? i disabled the safeguard, and played everything, so I got no clue which was the disturbing mission.

Well , you can still opt to skip it but it might get pretty confusing as it is sort of the important plot of the game. It links the (SPOILERS) story of the US and Russian troopers going into war.
