February 10, 1962 – September 27, 1986
He was only 24 when he died..

I also would like to thanks everyone who post replys to cliff.. we will always remember him

Who knows metallica might still change thier style even if he's still around. He was the most musically open amongst them. But I doubt they will be at the level they are now, Cliff might direct them to a more quality style.

I believe they eventually would've gone on to reach the level they are at now with Cliff in the band but maybe the Load/Reload/St Anger albums would've been way better.
