Cliff Burton - 19 years on

Today marks the 19th Anniversary of Cliff burtons death.

As you may or may not know, Cliff burton was the 2nd bassist for MetallicA. He was killed in a accident in 1986 with the tour bus when it rolled.

can't remember when i 1st watched the video "Cliff Em All..." a tribute to Cliff by metallica. left me wide-mouth-open-amazed as he was the 1st bass shredder i ever saw. bending the string and all. still remembered his fuzzy-wah bass tone...

I wonder if Cliff Burton was still alive, where would Flotsam & Jetsam be today. That's something to ponder about...

Man, I've lost my Cliff'em All tape a long time ago. I think for the 20th anniversary next year, they should re-release it on DVD with added features and footage or something, with interviews with ex-members, Cliff's families and whatnot. Apart from seeing Cliff, watching the band's early days as a raw, young, hungry band is priceless. Anybody has Lars Ulrich number so I can suggest this to him?

metallicas music probably would have had a similar sound, you know how some metal bands still have the same sound today as they did in the 80s

anyway TBA wouldnt have happened if he was there.
